Apartment Madera

Madera has stayed one of my favorite restaurants over the years. I keep coming back because the quality is consistently excellent, and the service is amazing. The staff are attentive and professional, and the manager deserves a special mention for running the place so well. I always enjoy returning.

Great atmosphere, food and service all the way through. It’s a fantastic meal, though you’ll want to be ready to spend. If that works for you, go ahead and book.

Madera is right in the heart of Belgrade, with a lovely setting that feels elegant but still relaxed. It suited a casual lunch just as well as a special dinner, and the menu had plenty of choice. Our dishes were fresh, delicious and nicely presented. The friendly staff stayed attentive throughout, and the professional, quick service kept everything running smoothly. A delightful meal from beginning to end. Whether you live in Belgrade or are just visiting, I’d recommend giving Madera a try for the food, setting and speedy service.

The desserts and service were good, but the main courses left our group of ten with complaints from everyone. With prices this high, I expected something much fancier than the regular dishes we got. I ordered fish with vegetables in butter, but it came with an odd amount of cream sauce. Maybe that combination works for some people, but I found it greasy and felt it overwhelmed the good fish.
