Boutique Rooms

The room was dirty, with a faint but persistent cigarette smell, and the bathroom stank so badly it woke me more than once during the night. Shower pressure dropped from weak to nothing within three minutes. Luckily, I hadn’t used shampoo yet. There was mold on the staircase, the building felt grimy, and the elevator doesn’t go to the hotel floor. The location is the only thing going for this hotel. Spend an extra $20 and stay somewhere better.

You can see the main statue from the window, since the place is right on the main square. The rooms were spotless, with daily service, a very comfortable bed and a good-sized bathroom. It felt secure, with lifts and a pass code, and the place was luxurious. I really recommend it. The location couldn’t be better.

The room was poorly cleaned, and the furniture and sheets were worn, with visible holes in the bedding. Hot water barely trickled out. On the last night, at 1.30AM, the heater or boiler in the closet started leaking. I shut off the water supply and drained the bathroom hot water to avoid a bad flood in the room and the floor below. I won’t stay there again.

I booked five nights in the apartment but moved to another hotel after just one. It had a rotten smell that the automatic perfume dispensers were trying to cover, but it still smelled bad. The bathroom was a disaster. Avoid this hotel.
