The rooms are great, the location is convenient and the staff are friendly, but I ran into a few problems. The hotel is on the fourth floor of an old building, and the elevator is very old too. Staff are only there until 19:00. That's manageable, except the building and hotel doors sometimes get locked at 20:00 for reasons I couldn't understand. If you come back after 19:00, there's a pretty good chance you'll be locked out with nobody there to help.

The location made our three nights in Belgrade so easy. We could get to nearly everything on foot, with cafes, breakfast places, bars, shops, markets and the main sights all nearby. The room was warm, which I’d worried about, and everything was clean and neatly kept, from the bathroom to the sheets. We were greeted kindly as soon as we arrived. We were happy with our stay and would choose this place again if we return.

A bottle of local wine left for my birthday was such a nice surprise, and I really appreciated it. The staff were exceptionally friendly, too. The design feels modern and tasteful, and the location is great.

Republic Square is so close that getting around the main parts of the city was easy. We stayed in a deluxe room for two, with plenty of storage and an extra heating unit. The bathroom was comfortable and the room was clean. The building looks quite old outside, but inside it has a modern design. We had a great three days in Belgrade thanks to Dominic Smart hotel.
