Elegance Hotel

The regular rooms are rather old, while the luxury room is large, spacious and colorful. The hotel is near downtown Belgrade, Serbia's largest city in north-central Serbia, and has a big reception room and restaurant.

For one night while passing through, it did the job expected of a three-star hotel. The room was surprisingly roomy, hygiene was acceptable though not spotless, and the reception staff were helpful and friendly, making check-in easy. The furnishings and interior are quite worn and outdated, so the room feels tired. It’s fine if you just need somewhere to sleep for a night, especially if space and kind service matter to you. For a longer visit or a more modern feel, I’d look elsewhere.

The rooms were clean and cozy, and the neighborhood was very quiet, even though it’s not right in the city center. The service was 11/10, the best I’ve ever seen, with staff always ready to help with anything you need. For this price range, I can’t recommend anything better. I’d choose this hotel again without hesitation.

I won’t book this hotel again. A few minutes after making my reservation, I had to cancel, so I called reception right away and asked them not to charge a fee. The woman said she’d pass the request to the decision-makers. I also told Booking, and Booking contacted the hotel asking them not to charge me. They charged a fee anyway. When I called to remind them I’d spoken with them the day before, they said there was no way around charging me. Do you earn money from hotel services, or from travelers who run into trouble and can’t make it? Did charging a traveler for a service you never provided really add much to your budget? Will you keep hiding behind Booking’s rules when Booking asked you not to charge me and was on my side?
