Breakfast was the highlight, with fresh fruit and vegetables plus plenty of extras. The staff were so warm and friendly, and they made my trip through Serbia much better. The rooms were spacious and spotless, and room service was quick, polite, and efficient. The service felt like a five-star resort. I'd recommend it to anyone travelling through Serbia.

The pool was so noisy that relaxing was impossible. Kids were shrieking, jumping, and splashing water everywhere, and I can't understand why they allowed so many people in. I went on a weekday and had a terrible time. It was a waste of my money and time, and I wouldn't return or recommend it. People go to a pool to unwind, but how can you do that with all the screaming?

Parking is roomy, and there's a playground nearby, so sitting outside for breakfast or lunch is a must. This traditional restaurant is in a great spot near Avala, and getting there is easier now thanks to the Belgrade bypass. There's lots of wood around, too.

It used to be an easy weekend escape from Belgrade, with Avala hill nearby and a chance to relax. These days it's another crowded restaurant with some rooms for rent. The food is mediocre and badly needs improvement. I'd move on, there are better choices than 1000 ruža.

The kids' park was fantastic, and it gave us a chance to relax as well. The surroundings had a great feel, and the food was pretty good. Service wasn't bad, but even with the place quiet, we felt we had to chase the servers down.
