The bathroom was awful: the door wouldn’t lock or even close, it smelled like a sewer, and the shower water smelled metallic and kept changing temperature. There were holes in the floor near the room corners, and we literally saw mice running around. We were shocked and didn’t feel safe sleeping there. The receptionist seemed unbothered, which made me think he was used to these complaints. The food wasn’t great either, and the online photos are definitely misleading. When we first entered, the lobby smelled really bad. Then we noticed problems with our room door. We had to keep it locked because you could literally open it by pushing a little. This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Definitely don’t stay here unless you like pet mice.

Terrible place. We found two mice, the rooms were in bad shape, and the water and bathroom stank. The food was low quality, the plastic bottles were already open and definitely refilled with tap water, and room service touched our personal items.

The hotel itself is a masterpiece, with so much care and hard work in the decoration and details. The rooms are spacious and the mattress was comfortable. Breakfast was satisfactory. The bathroom vent didn’t work, so it got a little humid.

The outside of the building is really beautiful, but the rooms feel cheap. The bed linen had been freshly washed, though it still had a stain, and the mattress was okay. Bathroom lighting is so bad you can barely see. I also didn’t care for the printed paintings in the hallway. The floor was really dirty, and the furniture felt very cheap.

Five stars++++++ for Helena at the restaurant. She was amazing. Never let her go! People could learn a lot about great customer service from this proper lady.
