Hotel Indigo Belgrade by IHG

The hotel is right in the city center, and the room had everything I needed. It was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. I’d also suggest lunch or dinner at the hotel restaurant Cveće zla, where the food, drinks, atmosphere, and staff were all excellent. I’ll definitely come back.

The food itself was acceptable, but the rude, unprofessional service overshadowed the meal. We’d booked a table for five at the hotel restaurant a week ahead, yet on arrival they said the reservation was only for three. At the entrance, staff acted as if seating us was a favor, saying they’d take us only if there was space. They eventually put us at a very uncomfortable table, with one guest beneath a tree whose branches kept hitting their face. The restaurant was overcrowded and poorly ventilated, which made everything worse. Their attitude left us feeling unwelcome, almost as if tourists weren’t appreciated. We wouldn’t recommend the place and won’t be back.

The location is right in the middle of the city, with major sights, restaurants, and the lively pedestrian zone only a short walk away. Even with all that nearby, Hotel Indigo Belgrade felt peaceful and relaxing. The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout, always smiling and ready with good local suggestions. My room was spotless, stylish, comfortable, and had everything I needed. I loved the hotel’s design, which mixes modern comfort with details that reflect Belgrade. Breakfast had a great range of fresh, delicious food. I had a wonderful stay, and Hotel Indigo Belgrade went beyond what I expected. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting and look forward to coming back.

I’ve had outstanding experiences at Hotels Indigo in Singapore, Bali, Kuala Lumpur, and elsewhere, so this stay was very disappointing, once again. The service was rude and dismissive, and the staff seemed poorly trained in basic service. They were cold, either lazy or deliberately obtuse. Special requests were ignored, and even small asks became difficult. The rooms weren’t as clean as expected and were poorly maintained. I can’t imagine spending the money to stay here again.
