The best thing was that dogs were allowed, so it gets an extra star for being animal friendly. The rest was rough. I booked an apartment and a single room, and at first glance they looked fine, but there were leaking toilets, no hot water, a broken fridge, and a mattress missing half its springs. We were moved to another room, but still had no hot water. I later found out the whole place had none. At dinner, mosquitoes were everywhere and seemed more interested in us than the waiter. Most items weren’t available because the chef wasn’t there, apparently with a wedding going on, which I could understand, but our order got mixed up, the food was poor, and we waited about an hour. Breakfast had no menu or choices. When we asked what was available, the waiter just said, “eggs” :D. We ended up with some omelets that were quite okay, but coffee cost extra on top of breakfast.

The restaurant terrace is lovely for morning coffee and breakfast, and the filter coffee was especially good. The buffet breakfast was more than fantastic, and the restaurant food was excellent. Rooms were neat and well equipped, with friendly hotel staff. The accommodation was excellent, and the spacious parking lot was free.

I visited this hotel with my customers, and they felt the same way I did about it. Everyone was great, from the housekeeping team to the restaurant staff, and especially the front office workers. This definitely didn’t feel like a 4* hotel. We paid for a night with breakfast in an apartment with a jacuzzi. It looked nice at first, but a lot of things were broken. The room was very cold when we arrived, and we had to call reception. The heating eventually came on, but very slowly. There was an air conditioner, but its remote was kept at reception. I still can’t believe that. The mini bar was empty, there was no room service, and the apartment had only one glass, which was in the bathroom.
