The meat was amazing, cooked just right and full of flavor, and the rest of the food was great too. Our waiter Veljko was friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout, which made the visit even better. I didn’t care for the dessert I ordered, a 2/10 for me, while my friend loved his and said it was amazing, so that may just be personal taste. The reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is that smoking is allowed inside, which takes away some comfort. Still, I’d recommend it for good Serbian food and standout service. Ideeeeeeee Veljkoooo, Chwala brateeeee 🚬🚬

The barbecue and other dishes are proper traditional Balkan food, and the portions are huge. One dish is usually enough for two, though you may want to order more because the food is so good. I’d rate the food 5/5, but the restaurant gets four stars from me. The waiter kept telling me what I could and couldn’t eat, apparently disapproving of my choice more than once. Most guests smoke inside too, which really spoils the experience.

Call ahead for a reservation, especially if you’re coming with a larger group, because it can get busy. I’ve eaten here many times and would recommend anything from the specialties menu. My personal favorite is the grilled ribs with kajmak. The waiters are friendly and polite as well as professional, and the portions are huge. Everything is reasonably priced, and the food is tasty beyond imagination. One of the best restaurants in town.

The setting was pretty nice, with a hostess by the door that made it feel a bit exclusive. The food was decent quality, average in taste, and served in huge portions. I tried the mixed meat plate to sample several things, but nothing stood out as exceptional. Service was terrible, with a long wait and several reminders needed before the waiter came.
