Hotel Mama Shelter Belgrade

Our rooms were spacious, spotless, and really comfortable, and the hotel’s modern design is lovely. The staff were all friendly and helpful, always with a smile. A special thanks to the team for finding my friend’s lost phone and returning it. That was thoughtful and professional, and it made a real difference to our stay. The location is great for exploring the city. Mama Shelter Belgrade sits above a mall, so shopping and sightseeing are easy, and the train station is very close. There’s a party feel, with DJs and live bands playing almost every night, so it’s fun if you’re after high energy. The room cleanliness was only okay. I felt I had to wipe the surfaces down myself with Clorox wipes, and there was a brown ring near the toilet rim that was pretty gross. The layout is a maze, and getting in and out can be a trek, so anyone with mobility issues should probably skip it. Check your bank statements afterward. I found strange card charges that weren’t on my final folio and had to dispute them with my bank. It’s a cool spot, but the maintenance and billing problems were a headache.

I stayed here in Belgrade with my five-year-old daughter, and the staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to take a moment for us, even when clearly busy. Their genuine care made a real difference. Many thanks to the Mama Gang Belgrade team for their hospitality. Serbia is beautiful, but the Serbian people are what made the trip unforgettable. On my fifth or sixth stay here, I found the hotel still has a unique, cozy, friendly feel, and the rooms are nice. The staff are professional and helpful. My room’s bed squeaked, and the floor felt uneven enough that I almost tripped. They say they’re green, but they still changed my towels even though I’d hung them on the rack after wiping my hands once.
