10/10
The location was so convenient that I walked everywhere in the city and never needed a taxi. I had a truly perfect three-night stay at the Mercure Belgrade Excelsior. From arrival, the hospitality was world-class. The woman checking me in was professional and incredibly friendly. We chatted and laughed, and she greeted me warmly each day afterward and asked about my adventures. Those personal touches made the trip memorable. As an Accor Elite member, I was delighted to receive an upgrade to a beautifully decorated, spotless, comfortable room. A handwritten welcome note and delicious baked goods were waiting for me, which was a thoughtful surprise. Everyone on staff I met was genuinely engaging, and I was honestly sad to leave. I can't fault a thing.

The staff were welcoming, friendly, and efficient, and my room was ready ahead of time. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The restaurant food, breakfast included, was very high quality. Republic Square is a great 15-minute walk away, and there are coffee shops, pharmacies, and stores in the area. Highly recommended.

We'd had a bad experience at another hotel, so arriving at night was a bit of a relief when manager Miloš greeted us so warmly. He really deserves credit for knowing how to treat customers. He told us about Belgrade and the different opportunities there. We stayed just one night. The place and room were fine, with complimentary water, tea, and coffee, though there was a strange smell in the room. Even so, it was a better experience than my stay at the 5-star Metropol Palace in Belgrade.

Mercure Belgrade was clean, quiet, and felt very safe. We enjoyed our stay, especially the delicious breakfast. The whole experience was excellent, and I'd highly recommend it.

Jelena at reception was a huge help, even when we needed something urgently at 04:00 am at night. She's incredibly helpful, and all the staff deserve a 5 star rating. Everything was amazing.
