Mona Plaza Hotel

Nikola at reception made a real difference to my stay at Hotel Mona Plaza. He was warm, respectful, and engaging, and always happy to help, even with small requests. His natural charm goes hand in hand with real professionalism, and he represents the hotel so well. The rooms were modern and thoughtfully laid out, comfortable enough to make the stay feel relaxing and luxurious. I was also impressed by the cleanliness and professional feel throughout, right from arrival. Hotel Mona Plaza exceeded my expectations, and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Belgrade.

Being such a large group, we really appreciated the patience and kindness of front office Manager Dijana Lekic and the whole staff. They helped us from the start and made us all feel welcome. Everyone was polite, professional, and quick to lend a hand. The hotel’s spot in Dorćol puts bars, restaurants, Kalemegdan Fortress, and the riverside promenade within walking distance. There’s a lot to like inside, too. Our rooms (goup of 86) were spacious and beautifully designed, with beds so comfortable we didn't want to get up. The whole property was impeccably clean. The old "Šonda" chocolate factory site gives Mona Plaza a character that’s hard to find in a typical city hotel, with industrial heritage and contemporary luxury fitting together beautifully. Breakfast was spectacular, with loads of fresh local products and chocolate treats that nod to the building’s history. Great style, comfort, and service. We can’t wait to return.

I enjoyed the stay, and the location worked well for me. It's not right in the center, but not far from it either, with Republic Square about a 15-20 minute walk away. There are some nice Italian restaurants nearby, too. Breakfast could be better. Parking costs 22 Euro a day. I guess the hotel might get more guests if it were free.

The restaurant serves excellent food with a homemade feel, and the hotel is lively, welcoming, and very clean. What really lifted our stay was the staff, who go out of their way to look after guests. The reception manager is especially outstanding and seems to work wonders for everyone.
