Villa Quantum Beograd

I still think fondly of the month I spent here alone in 2020, working from anywhere during COVID. The owners and the help felt like family, and they looked out for me when I came back late. I’d pick up fruit and simple food at the supermarket on the corner, jog along the banks of Danube ❤️, and walk to the center every day for the best banana ice cream. I love this place and hope to stay again someday.

The owner was very friendly and willing to show me how to use just about everything. WiFi is free, parking is in a fenced yard, and every room has A/C, which was lovely to wake up to. Toilets and showers are shared, two of each on every floor, but they’re modern and very well maintained. It’s a 15-minute walk to the center of Beograd.

The staff were rude and unprofessional, and wouldn’t help even with simple problems. For what we paid, the service was unacceptable. At Quantum Beograd Hotel, the room was dirty, the furniture outdated, and the whole place seemed neglected and badly managed. It was one of my worst hotel stays, and I strongly advise against booking it when there are better choices in Belgrade.

The landlady was very kind. I left some things behind, and she kept them for me until I could get them back. My partner and I enjoyed the stay; the room was small but clean and very comfortable, and the WiFi was good. The bathroom was clean too. The location felt a bit in the middle of nowhere, and we were disappointed that the room wasn’t cleaned when we left it, but overall we enjoyed staying there.
