The meal was the real letdown for me. The meat dish for four was bland, and neither the cevapcici nor the pleskavita had much flavor. If you’re after good Serbian meat, I’d highly recommend Restaurant & Pizzeria Slap, just five minutes away. I came for the food and didn’t stay at the hotel. The bathroom, service, table spacing, and the waitresses’ English were all okay. The music was quiet enough for us to talk normally.

We were ten people hoping to eat, but the waiter said we couldn’t share the only empty table, which seated six. We said we didn’t mind, but the girl also wouldn’t let us bring chairs over from another spot because of their policy. I didn’t eat or drink anything. The place looks nice from outside, but the hostile welcome put me off recommending it.

The food was delicious, especially the pancakes I’d recommend for dessert. I only visited the restaurant. Service was a little slow, though the waitress was very friendly and spoke English, so it was easy to explain what we wanted.

The service was very polite, but the kitchen was a disaster. We waited almost an hour, and I wouldn’t recommend the food: the beef stroganoff came with mashed potatoes that seemed to be made from powder, while the gnocchi had a watery, gluey mess instead of sauce. This place might work for warming up and having a drink.

A really nice spot to sit and chat, or catch your favorite games on TV.
