Parking gave us a bit of trouble, but our host Danica was incredibly helpful and showed us where to park and how to pay so we wouldn’t get a ticket. Thanks again, Danica! It was our first time in Niš, and staying in this former traditional Turkish home in Tinkers/Coppersmith Alley made it a wonderful visit. Downtown Rooms is five minutes from the Niš fortress and Skull Tower, ten minutes from Mediana, and close to shops, salons and places to eat. So convenient. Highly recommend booking here!

The staff were really friendly, and there are plenty of cafes nearby, though that also made evenings noisy. The room itself was pretty nice, with a good desk, a refrigerator and comfortable shelves. The plumbing is old.

The location is the best part, but the small room had a lot of problems. We booked for three people and only got two towels and two glass cups. There was nobody at reception, so I had to call the owner to arrange payment. You should be prepared to make compromises.
