The hostel is very close to the center, and my room was really clean. Christina was cheerful and helpful, and suggested places I could go next. The bathrooms did stay a bit wet, but the place was very clean overall.

Christina was lovely and helpful. I even left my wallet in the bathroom after checking out, and she kept it safe for me. I'd stay here again when I'm back. The location is great, the bed was comfortable, and the room was big enough, especially since I was mostly the only one in it. The bathroom was clean most of the time, and there's a basic kitchenette and a fridge. I was happy enough to extend my stay from two days to four. It's a laid-back hostel rather than a party place, so it suited me as a remote worker. It's not very sociable, but that was fine for me. Room 3 faces the road and the window was usually open, so it was noisy. Bring earplugs. A few things could be better. The internet was pretty bad much of the time, which is a problem when you travel and work remotely. There aren't many laundromats in NS, so affordable laundry service available anytime would be a real help. I also noticed some dorm rooms, and it would be great to have one with curtains around the beds for more privacy.

The bathrooms were really dirty, and the hostel wasn't as clean as the photos made it look. I also found it infested with bedbugs, which is a serious danger. You can get bitten and take the bugs home in your suitcase. I would never recommend staying here.

I really liked the atmosphere, and there's a lovely cafe right in front of the hostel with very good coffee. It's also close to plenty of shops, cafes, and other places. I was in Novi Sad for a few days for the Exit Festival and had booked months ahead. When I arrived, the owner already knew who I was. I'm not sure if I'll return to Serbia, but if I do, I'll stay at City Hostel again. It's a great place.
