I stayed at Varad Inn Hostel twice, in August 2021 and May 2022. The staff are genuinely friendly and ready to help with any questions. There’s a café by the entrance, plus somewhere to sit in the back yard. The rooms have enough space, and you can keep your luggage in lockers. It’s a little way from the city center, but the views along the way are great.

I came for the Exit festival and spent four days at The Varad Inn hostel this summer. I loved my stay. The dorms were clean and cozy, and everyone on staff was super friendly. The manager in particular was so nice. Best regards from Tunisia.

The owners are actually around and seem to care about their guests, which you don’t find at most hostels. They’re the nicest hosts I’ve met, and the place is clean with a cool café. One of the most amazing hostels I’ve been to in a while!

I arrived by bike and had a few problems with it. The staff let me clean and repair it in their garden, and helped me find a very competent bike shop. There’s a secure place to store bikes, too. With the hostel right on the EuroVelo 6, I’d especially recommend it to people cycling that route, though I think any traveller would enjoy it. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the city centre across the bridge. The rooms and showers are new and very clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. There’s a nice garden and an attached Café, and the hostel has a really good atmosphere.
