This is only about the "Karadjordjeva". I order it at every restaurant we visit, and this was the worst one I've had in my life. The portion was the only thing that was okay. It was supposed to be made with real "kajmak", and this absolutely wasn't it. My wife ordered something else and was quite pleased. The waiter was a total professional and the service was perfect. The ambiance and location are both great, and you can see the dish in the photo.

We stopped for lunch on the way to Zagreb. It's not very close to the highway, but the trip was worth it. The Pleskavitsa was great, and the view of the forest was amazing. I'd recommend sitting on the terrace. This review is just for the restaurant. Enjoy!

At 11 pm there was a loud party on the ground floor, and nobody was at reception to deal with it. I've stayed here a couple of times, but surprises like this make me unsure I'll come back.

We were amazed by Hotel Borkovac. Everything felt peaceful, both in the hotel and around it, and the service and food were exceptional. It's one of the loveliest, most relaxing places we've stayed. The spa and massage area was a special highlight. I had the best massage of my life there. Nisa gave me a Thai-style massage for my neck, head, and shoulders, with an incredible technique that released tension and stress from my muscles. Absolutely worth recommending!

I'm reviewing the restaurant only. The food was delicious, the portions were huge, and lunch wasn't that expensive. Whatever you order, you probably won't finish it. The restaurant interior is top notch too, with quality details like iron chairs, an iron structure, and iron chandeliers that look great with all the greenery around. The view over the pine forest is breathtaking, and the air feels so pure and clean, away from the urban area. There's free parking, bike lanes for cycling, and a really nice big pool with plenty of sunbeds nearby. I'd go for the food, then take a walk in nature with friends, family, or even alone. It's healing.
