We stayed here in autumn with our two little kids, and the room was cold. When I asked if they could do anything to warm it up, I was told there was no way. There’s no air conditioning either, so I imagine it gets really hot in summer. Very disappointing.

The location is great, and the room was clean and nice. It did feel cold, especially in the bathroom.

The hosts were good, and the place was solid and clean, with secured parking. It’s tucked away and quiet right in the center. Dragiša’s two welcome rakijas were even better than the ones at the Hilton. A few small things, like the čiviluki, could be better. If you’re after sleek luxury and a fancy atmosphere, look elsewhere.

The host banged on the door during the break, ignoring the house rules. When we complained about the noise, he said, “You didn’t come here to rest.” He’s so stingy he switches off the fridge with a fuse. The accommodation is basic, old, and quite dirty, and the bathroom shelves are slippery, so bathing feels risky. If you have any other place to stay, avoid this one.

Wonderful, very kind people, and the best place to stay in Sokobanja.
