Premier Prezident Garni Hotel and Spa

The staff were cheerful, helpful and great with us. We were traveling with an infant and got a very good child's bed. The rooms were clean and felt safe, though they could use an upgrade to the air conditioning and a few small additions like coffee, tea, and, in my opinion, bottled water. It’s a nice place in the city center. The spa is a little small, and while it’s a five-star hotel, don’t expect exceptional luxury. We’ll definitely come back.

The staff were very polite and helpful, but this didn’t feel like a five-star stay. I’m not sure how the hotel got that rating, and it looks much better in the pictures than in person. The spa has two small pools and a poor sauna that doesn’t keep its temperature well. It seems like an ambitious attempt at a high-end classical hotel, but it doesn’t pull it off. I don’t think it’s good value for money.

The hotel building looks bad, especially for a five-star place among all the beautiful buildings around the square. Inside, though, the rooms are lovely, and everyone was very nice, particularly the receptionists. The spa and wellness center is small, but even with the hotel full, we got time in both the sauna and jacuzzi. Breakfast was good, and the baroque-style breakfast ballroom is very lovely too.

We chose this for our anniversary trip as a couple. The hotel and rooms feel unusual and interesting, which made for a nice change. The location is great, close to the train station and in the city center. We liked the breakfast and spa, although the spa felt a little small for a hotel with so many rooms.
