I had arranged to arrive around midnight, but the owner never answered the phone and marked our Booking.com reservation as cancelled. I was left without anywhere to stay in the middle of the night with two kids. I don't know why nobody told me a late arrival would be a problem. I later saw on Booking.com that this had happened to other people too. It was inhuman and deeply disappointing.

We called the owner twice to confirm our stay. When we got to Subotica, he said he didn't know what we were talking about and had no reservation under my name. I tried calling him afterward, but he never picked up.

The hosts were so kind, and the apartment came equipped with what we needed. It actually looks even better than it does in the photos. Definitely recommend it.

The building has a restaurant serving excellent food. The apartment itself is clean and tidy, in a great location, and the host is friendly and open to making arrangements.
