Hotel and Spa Idila

The beds are large and comfortable, and the staff were fairly friendly when we spoke Serbian. The hotel is within walking distance of almost everything, and the rooms are nonsmoking, though there were ashtrays on the balconies. We wouldn't stay again. There was no AC. At first they told us to leave the patio door open, then later offered to move us to a room with AC. That left us unable to shut the windows, so at night we heard music from the bars, while daytime brought constant construction noise. The hair dryer stopped working after 30 seconds. The shower had almost no pressure and the water was temperamental. Breakfast wasn't suitable for vegans. We explained in Serbian that I was vegan and asked for black coffee, nes cafe, but they brought a milky frappuccino without telling me it had milk. I had to ask. They did comp our breakfast drinks after the mistake, but drinks aren't included in the free breakfast. They also asked for our place of birth at check-in, and when we asked why, said it was for taxes. The breakfast room smelled strongly of cigarettes, despite the hotel supposedly being nonsmoking.

Idila is a pleasant, fairly new little hotel. The rooms are decent, and I liked that they pay attention to the details. Everything felt in its place, and it met my expectations.

A lovely place to get away from daily stress. It's modern and very clean, with facilities like a pool, spa, massage, and gym. The staff are extremely friendly. I'd rate it 10+.

I only visited the spa, and it was very nice. The decor is good and the atmosphere is peaceful. The pool and sauna were good too.
