Vila Barović and Spa

The spa was decent, and the prices felt fair for what you get. We also had good parking, and the vila is only a few minutes on foot from the center of Zlatibor. What surprised me most was how much the real place matched the photos online. The staff were professional and very kind, and everything indoors felt clean and comfortable. We even got to use the pool when it was around 15-20 degrees outside. I’d definitely recommend it.

I wouldn’t recommend this place. The listing made it look like a couple of Vilas, but it turned out to be a small hotel, with no spa, and the pool closed at 6, which felt really early. The staff didn’t speak with us, they just handed us notes warning that they’d call the police if we made noise. The doors were noisy when they shut, and then staff complained about the noise from them.

The staff were cold and unpleasant from the start, and the photos were nowhere near what the place actually looked like. We were a bit noisy on the first night with 13 people, and then got a really disrespectful letter. After that, the staff were rude and seemed to be looking for a reason to kick us out. Really not recommended, awful, awful, awful.

We could still use the pool in the rain and when it was below 20'C, thanks to the heated water and cover. It’s a great place for families with kids, with friendly staff and a very clean setup.
