The hospitality really stood out. Everyone was friendly, smiling, and great with the service. The restaurant faces the lake and serves tasty food and drinks. Makutano Club & Resort sits up a small hill, so there’s a great panoramic view of Lake Kivu. The rooms are spacious, with amenities including WiFi and a terrace where you can have drinks any time of day. Definitely one to consider staying at in Gisenyi.
