The food was outstanding, with lots of tasty choices, from a fresh breakfast spread to flavorful dinner dishes, all beautifully presented. The staff were friendly and attentive, and both the dining and room experience exceeded my expectations. My room at Light house hotel was spacious, clean, and well kept, with modern amenities, a cozy bed, and a calm, relaxing feel. The bathroom was just as impressive, with quality toiletries and a powerful shower. A really memorable stay.

The team is amazing, and there’s a restaurant upstairs with good food. The hotel looks aged from outside, but the inner courtyard and those oversized hanging peace baskets change that impression. They have rooms in different sizes. Mine was big and clean, with access to a balcony.

On our way to nyungwe, we stopped for lunch. We both ordered pilau rice with chicken and cooked vegetables. It was very good and such a big portion that we couldn’t finish it. Preparation took about 30 minutes, and the price was very good.

The staff were helpful and friendly, and breakfast was really nice. The place badly needs redecorating, though. It looks like nothing has been done for a long time, and one of the mosquito nets needed replacing. The shower was the best I’ve had, but it’s solar heated, so there probably won’t be warm water in the morning.

I spent 3 nights at Light House Hotel in June 2019 and enjoyed it. The place was quiet, peaceful, and clean, and food orders came quickly. The receptionist and the whole team were organized. I also tried their Sauna & massage and was very pleased with the services.
