For 130000Rwf, the room was tiny and the place was seriously overpriced. The wardrobes were substandard, the table was old and peeling, and even the dustbin was just an ordinary plastic one. There’s no lift and no consideration for disabled guests. The bathroom wiring ran around in naked wires, and water from the shower flowed into the toilet area and spilled into the small room. We were two people but got only one towel. The shampoo dispensers were the kind of ordinary plastic ones you can buy at a hardware store for USD 2. I could keep listing things. This place isn’t worth the money, save yourself. The one bright spot was the breakfast server, a lovely, pleasant lady who kept smiling.

The staff here really go out of their way to provide good service. During our trip, we also stayed at Grand Legacy, another 4 star hotel nearby in Kigali that charged three times as much, but its service was far below what we got here. Breakfast was great, and the stay was generally very comfortable. We’d recommend the hotel, though there was never any hot water during our two days there. The breakfast area has a quiet, relaxing feel that I really liked. There can be some noise at night, since the area seems a bit party-oriented. Businesses near the hotel felt a little less friendly, but you’re close to everything you need.

It’s affordable and clean, and the airport pickup was on time. Being so close to the airport makes this a great place to stay. I loved it.
