Impala Hotel

We were staying in our motorhome and parked out front. The staff were friendly and kindly let us use a room for the shower and toilet at no charge. It's right in town, and if you need to go farther, you can get a ride from just outside the hotel.

The staff did nothing to fix any of the problems, and I would never stay here again. I'd rather sleep in the car. We were there for two nights, and most of the time there was no hot water. The shower pressure was so poor that we had to sit on the bath floor to get any decent flow. The WiFi barely worked, and there was a huge hole in the bathroom roof. There was no jacuzzi, shampoo, or kitchen for guests, and the two bathrooms mentioned in the description weren't there either. We paid a high price for services we never got.

The rooms were dark and not very clean, and the quality didn't justify the price. The manager put rates up because demand in Kigali was high. Avoid.

Downtown Kigali's best hotel, restaurant, and bar, in my view. The service is quick and good, with great music playing.
