Judith's Hostel

I had to cancel and move to another hotel because the room’s sanitation was so poor. It looked nothing like the pictures. The washroom was under six feet long, and my knees touched the walls when I sat on the toilet. There wasn’t an air conditioner or fan, and the mosquito net was too small. I was left dealing with the heat and worrying about mosquitoes all night.

Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. The simple room was lovely and comfortable, with its own bathroom. There’s a cafe and garden right outside, a beautiful place to relax and eat. Great value in a lovely neighborhood, too. I’d definitely stay again.

Shark gave us lots of useful recommendations, and the staff were friendly. The rooms were clean, tidied every day, and they also offer laundry. Breakfast was nice, and the location was convenient. It isn’t quite a hostel since it has private rooms. For the price, you get a really good deal. We’d stay again if we return to Kigali.

Innocent was very helpful, and the accommodation itself is good value for Kigali. Finding it was the hard part. The location shown is wrong, there’s not enough signage, and it’s inside Fika cafe on KN14. I spent nearly an hour searching, and it might have taken longer because it’s fairly new and most locals hadn’t heard of it.
