Rohi Apartment Hotel

I booked this apartment through Agoda on 31st March, but on April 2nd, the day I was due to arrive, they emailed to say my room had been cancelled. I was at a conference and had to call around for somewhere to stay after it ended that evening. The booking had not actually been cancelled, and I wasn't refunded. I eventually got it cancelled through the booking agency after several days. When I emailed the apartment, they claimed they'd contacted the agency but gave me the wrong agency name. My agency later confirmed that they had not been contacted. It wasted a lot of time and left me without a room late in the evening. In their response, they said the reservation had been cancelled on the same day it was made. That is false: I booked on 31st March, and it was cancelled on April 2nd, the day I was supposed to arrive. They said they cancelled through booking, even though I'd used Agoda, which explains why the cancellation hadn't gone through. They are giving false information and seem unable to keep track of bookings, even after confirming one. Avoid this hotel if you don't want to end up in the same situation.
