I've been staying at Velvet Suites in Kigali for about three years, and it keeps delivering. Airport pickup and drop-off are free, which makes travel easier. The staff are welcoming, the food is excellent, and orders arrive quickly. Rooms stay spotless, with modern bathrooms and reliable hot water, and everything works. I'd give it 10 out of 5 stars if I could. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kigali.

Lovely hotel, though I had to switch rooms because of noise. The main meals were fantastic, and breakfast came loaded with fresh fruit. Compliments to the chef! 😋

At Velvet suites, I got a warm welcome with juice, starting from the airport reception. Their fish is well prepared, and I'll always choose the wet fry. Room service is ready to answer when I press the call button. I plan to visit this hotel again.

We needed a day hotel, and velvet hotel was incredible. It's clean and modern, the food is amazing, and it feels like an Airbnb oasis amid the dirt roads, about 10 minutes from the airport. We did wait a while for food, but that's part of the African Culture :)

It's a lovely stay and very good value for money. The room was clean, the staff were helpful, and there's a restaurant with beautiful city views. It's about a 20-minute walk from the airport. I'll be back 😁
