Yambi Guesthouse

The rooms were cozy, and the shower had good pressure and hot water. Yambi Guesthouse has a beautiful, clean, artistic feel. Breakfast was a generous plate with eggs, beets, sweet potatoes, and fruit. Highly recommend staying here.

The food and coffee were amazing, and breakfast came in three beautiful courses. I stayed here at the end of my two weeks in Rwanda after hearing such good recommendations, and it lived up to them. Tucked away in a peaceful spot, with large, well-equipped rooms. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and always available. It's a comfortable place to relax and enjoy your time, and would be great for groups too.

The chef is so good and creative, and breakfast was incredible, possibly one of the best in East Africa. We spent three nights at this wonderful guest house, two adults and one child. The staff were great as well. We'd recommend it for either a holiday or a business trip.

We came back for a second stay during our Rwanda trip because we loved it. The rooms were nice, there's a pleasant garden, and breakfast was amazing. The area is very quiet and has a nice view. Kigali isn't very walkable in general, so you'll need cheap motorcycle rides to get around. We'd been unsure after reading the reviews, but it seemed many things had improved: no hidden extra fees, and we were allowed to use the kitchen. The only issue we had was the mosquito nets in both rooms. They were too short to reach the beds, and with so many mosquitoes around, we had to hunt them down each evening.
