The location makes it easy to get to the National Park for a gorilla trek or golden monkey hike, and the hotel can help arrange both, along with visits to other sites. After a hard, muddy hike, they provide gaiters, clean your boots and even massage your feet. That was amazing. The setting is gorgeous, with lots of green space and birds. The restaurant has lovely views and serves delicious food. The rooms are comfortable, and I loved the heated water bottle they left at turn-down. Most of all, the team across the hotel were incredibly kind and made our stay wonderful. What a great find, and such a lovely start to our adventure!

I keep coming back to Five Volcanoes. I’ve stayed here for five years and plan to return again. The rooms are very nice, the staff are kind and helpful, and the food is outstanding, with choices to suit every preference. It’s a great base for Gorilla Tracking, and the staff help you get ready for it. I love this place!

Everyone on staff was friendly, and the shoe cleaning after our muddy trip to Gorilla was much appreciated. The service was impeccable. The only downside was the power outage, and there was probably weak or no wifi in the room.

The service was amazing, the food was great, and the hotel is nice. It has everything you look for in a hotel. I came from Mexico to Rwanda, and if I ever go back, I’d definitely stay there again.

The pool and sauna were a great way to unwind after hiking, and Volcanoes NP is so close for seeing gorillas and golden monkeys. We had an amazing time at Five Volcanoes. The property is beautiful, the food is spectacular, truly gourmet, and everyone we met seemed genuinely keen to make our trip as good as possible. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Our travel agent recommended it, and we’re glad we listened. We’d absolutely stay again on a future trip and recommend it.
