The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the hot water bottles for the bed were a thoughtful touch. They even put charcoal discs beside the dinner tables. The team greeted every request with a smile and helped with umbrellas for the rain, gaiters, and clean boots after a muddy hike. They also had recommendations for very strong vodka and local beers. Definitely recommend it.

The rooms are on the small side, but tasteful and comfortable. What really impressed us was the trekking help: they cleaned our shoes, dried our gear, and provided gaiters. The staff were incredibly kind, and finding hot water bottles in the evening was a lovely touch. A fantastic lodge with service that goes above and beyond. Highly recommended for a smooth, high-quality stay.

I arrived with an upset stomach, and the staff quickly made me ginger tea, brought bread, and helped me recover. They were lovely and very accommodating. The food was fabulous, and the rooms were extremely clean. The lodge itself is absolutely gorgeous. I’d recommend staying here!

The grounds are beautifully kept, green and quiet, and feel restorative even on a short visit. When the weather cooperates, there are volcano views from the lush gardens. Tiloreza makes a calm, comfortable base for Volcanoes National Park, close enough for early departures while still feeling like a retreat.
