Abha Crown Hotel Suites

The rooms and washrooms felt very claustrophobic, one room had a broken window latch, and the bathroom tubs had cracks. Our group of five reached at 3:30 am on the first day after bad weather and roadblocks, hoping the travel problems would be over at the hotel, but the disappointment started as soon as we arrived. Staff initially resisted our requests and made snide remarks when they eventually accepted them. We had to ask for fresh towels and blankets, which another hotel would have proactively arranged for five guests. When we returned on day two, there had been no turndown service. Only after checking did we learn we had to request it, and staff explained this rudely, lecturing us about how hotels in Abha work. On the third day, even after requesting turndown service, the towels weren't replenished. We had to ask for more, and the staff were hesitant to help again. Once the turndown service was done, the staff performed it well, which was the only respite. In all my stays across the Middle East, this is the first time I've preferred being outside the hotel to staying in it. I won't stay here again or recommend it. The price doesn't come close to justifying the service.

The rooms look good and the interiors are nice, but that's about it. The staff and the room toilets both fell short of what I expected. The toilets are very small and have a lot of leaks. During the off-season, breakfast wasn't good, just bread, butter, and jam.

For SR 990 for 2 nights, the rooms were shabby and small, the toilets couldn't fit a normal-sized person, the internet was only fair, and the breakfast was horrible. Nothing was served without asking for help. When we asked what was on the menu, the staff member didn't speak English and began listing bread, butter, jam, honey, and so on. We left right away. Not recommended at all!

The washroom was very small, though the rooms were clean and well maintained. I stayed 2 days and 3 nights. There's free Wi-Fi, and the staff were helpful.
