Abha Palace

I came back the next day after losing my watch, and Mr. Ram Sabak had kept it safe for me. I really appreciate his honesty. Thanks to the hotel management too for having such great staff!

The staff were excellent, and breakfast was very good. The rooms are large, nicely laid out, and really clean. I’d recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

Breakfast didn’t have much choice, though what was available tasted nice. The rooms were clean, but the bathroom felt a bit dated. The gym and pool are MEN ONLY, so my wife couldn’t use either facility.

The room has quality classical furniture and is very well furnished, but it’s short on newer tech. There are few outlets, and they’re mostly taken up by the room’s lighting devices. I also found that the staff prices for the same facilities weren’t as good as booking or other apps. New Abha feels like a safe, quiet part of the district, with easy access to main highways leading to local attractions. I didn’t try the Syaha services, though they seem to have built quite a good reputation. The view across Abha dam’s lake under a partly cloudy sky is the kind that stays in your memory.
