A clean place with a good atmosphere, and the staff were cooperative. It was good value for the money. A few more cooking appliances and a microwave would make it better for longer stays.

Mutawalli, the Sudanese staff member, was polite, respectful, and spoke eloquently. Excellent service. May God bless them.

The rooms were decent, and the staff treated us with real class, especially Metwally and Farouk.

I hope I don't have to repeat this stay. At 6 AM, I was jolted awake by hammering on the wall and a drill. Workers in the building next to the hotel were making unbearable noise, and the receptionist already knew about it but hadn't warned us. It was such a nuisance, I swear to God.

We stayed for five days. The place was okay, though the kitchen needed cleaning, and the reception staff were very polite. We asked to have the room cleaned, and they told us the time would be 2 or 3 o'clock. That was fine. But my husband and I went out with the door locked and our key card with us, then came back to find the room had been cleaned while we were away. They had entered without us there, which really upset us and felt like a violation of our privacy. If you're booking, please be aware of this.
