Sky Blue Hotel

The bathroom was clean but very small, and it had an odd smell. I’m not sure what caused the odor. They run it like a service apartment, but there’s no service, and they didn’t even provide water bottles. Otherwise, it’s a decent hotel.

The bed was hard enough to give us back pain, and the AC didn’t work on the first night, so we couldn’t use the heater either. We were cold and slept badly. When we asked for a repair, the staff didn’t respond until morning. The room smelled awful as soon as we walked in. It was filthy too, with dirty handles, slippery floors, and unclean toilets. The toilet seat was broken, the shower didn’t work, and the geyser was faulty. Service was just as disappointing. The receptionist was rude and arrogant, with no basic customer service skills. We booked for two people but got only one towel. Poor hygiene, terrible service, and an uncomfortable stay. The worst hotel experience I’ve had. NOT RECOMMENDED!

Only one lift was running, and it was so slow that the waits were frustrating. The room’s AC barely worked, and there wasn’t even water or tissue provided. My stay at Sky Blue Hotel in Al Baha was disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend it until these problems are addressed.

My one-bed suite looked just like the pictures, and the hotel was in very good condition. It’s right in the city centre, too. The receptionist, Mr. Siddiqui, was generous and helpful. A wonderful hotel.
