Al Janadriyah 4

The location made our three-day backpacking trip easy, since it was close to the places we planned to visit. After all that walking, the beds were wonderfully comfortable and helped with our back pain. Our room was spacious, completely clean, and reasonably priced. The staff were very accommodating and took care of our needs. There was only one towel when we arrived, but they promptly brought us four after we asked. They even invited us to check the room on arrival, but everything was fine, so we didn’t need to switch. I don’t understand the negative comments; this was much better than other hotels we’ve stayed at.

We were in room 206, where the living room smelled awful all day. They refused our request to change rooms, and there was no hot water in the bathroom. Bring your own towels, slippers, and bathroom mat if you stay here. The service doesn’t match the price, and the Wi-Fi took a long time to connect.

The rooms were roomy enough for our group, but we waited over an hour to get into the one we had booked. The air conditioning also wasn’t working properly. We understand the delay may have been due to the number of staff, but we hope this doesn’t happen again.

The location is excellent, with the Corniche very close and shops within walking distance. Parking wasn’t a problem, and the staff were helpful and supportive. The rent felt reasonable for the standard, and this is a nice place to stay.
