Desert Rock

We kept finding thoughtful touches at the end of the day: after activities, there was a cold cocktail waiting in the lobby, and at night we came back to a teapot and treats, with a different tea each day. The team also made our stay feel personal. Everyone was welcoming, and our host, Amjad, looked after us throughout. She even surprised us with a cake and a gift at dinner. We had a great time exploring the resort. The zip line was fast and fun, and climbing the mountain on the Via Ferrata ladder was a real adventure. The swing section was especially spectacular. We also walked up the stairs and across the suspended bridge to the observation deck. From up there, we could see the whole resort, and the sunset was beautiful. At night, the lit bridge and steps had a lovely atmosphere. Stargazing was another peaceful way to end an evening, with so little light pollution. Our villa looked out over the mountains and felt very private, with no one able to see inside. We loved the pool and the bathroom design. On arrival, the team explained the resort using a model map, which helped us get our bearings and plan what to explore. Even the trip from the airport was enjoyable, with a complimentary ride through beautiful scenery. The airport itself was beautifully designed, and the staff there made us feel comfortable from the start. Dinner at NYRA came with a beautiful view and amazing service. We also liked the Indian food at Basalt, where the staff were friendly and especially helpful with my vegan dietary restrictions. In the listening room, we played some of the vinyl records we had brought along. The speakers sounded exceptional, and having drinks served while we listened made it feel relaxed and personal. The whole experience, from the setting and activities to the food and service, made our stay at Desert Rock Resort unforgettable.

We celebrated some very important moments in our lives on this trip, and the kindness everyone showed us turned the stay into a memory we'll always treasure. The care, warm welcome, and attention to detail really made the difference. Mr. Abdullah, General Manager, deserves special thanks for the care and attention he gave us throughout. His leadership shows in the quality of the whole team's service. Sebastian also made our days more enjoyable with his friendly manner, charisma, and attentiveness. His dedication reflects the standard of Desert Rock. The entire team showed professionalism, genuine hospitality, and care in every detail.
