Ma sha Allah, the hospitality was good and the service was excellent. A special mention to Mr. Muhammed al yemeni and the reception guy. Hats off to you all.

The room itself wasn’t bad, but the toilet wouldn’t flush. They replaced it, though the cement didn’t hold, leaving the toilet wobbly and cement all over the bathroom. The noise was the worst part of our 18-day stay. Construction across the hall meant banging and jackhammering every day. For two days in a row they hammered the wall of our room while we were inside, then worked on the elevator before the noise started up again. Another night, they tested the fire alarms at midnight; on a different night there was vacuuming and banging it against the wall. I spoke to the manager, who apologized and said the work was over, but it wasn’t. I was very disappointed by how little regard there seemed to be for guests’ comfort and sleep.

The suite I booked was clean and spacious, and the front desk guy was especially nice and helpful. The microwave and TV remote didn’t work, though, and the elevator needs maintenance. Also, the address is incorrect, so you have to call the hotel to find it. Would I go again? Sure. Overall, 7/10.

I’ve stayed here around four times. It’s reasonably priced and quite good for the money, though the noise is a real drawback. Traffic, horns, and screeching tires from the nearby intersection are loud, with cars braking hard because of the Saher camera at the traffic light. The rooms are small, although apartment options are available for more money. Soundproofing is poor, so you can hear people in neighboring rooms. There’s no desk or table, which means eating food deliveries on the bed. On the plus side, the rooms are hygienic and elegant, the bathrooms are clean, amenities are always available, and there’s a microwave oven in the room. Daily housekeeping is available on request, and shops and laundromats are nearby. One of the reception staff can come across as rude.

We stayed here for more than a month through our company, and the manager treated us very badly when I raised the issue. Room repairs were happening at night with a lot of noise and no warning, so we couldn’t sleep even though we had to work the next day. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel on Al jamaya street to any women. The manager doesn’t know how to treat customers. The other staff, including housekeeping and maintenance, were humble and helpful. Big salute to them.
