OYO 455 Hamar Ain

I don't understand what the hotel is trying to do. It's failing, and I think it needs a different name.

Some floors have been renovated, but others still seem neglected and need attention. Cleanliness could use more care, too, and adding staff might help guests get quicker responses. Be thoughtful about which guests you welcome if you want to build a good reputation and earn customers' trust. Chasing revenue alone could mean losing benefits and facing problems and financial losses.

I won't be coming back after this bitter stay. The mattress was awful, the bathroom was in bad shape, and water from the leaking heater spilled onto the chair. I found the treatment insulting. Getting the AC remote took repeated requests, and when it finally arrived, its batteries were dead. My card didn't work, so an attendant opened the door for me. I sent the card with him to reception to be activated, but he never came back. The receptionist said I'd get it when I went downstairs. At dawn I found no employees; the attendant said the receptionist was asleep, so I waited and asked him to wake me when he came. After a while he showed up, and when I asked for a card, I was told, "We're out of stock. We'll give you one when we get more." I can't understand how this miserable hotel is managed.

For the price, the place is clean and a good deal, but it’s missing some basic things. There was no iron, prayer rug, or towels, and not even a phone to reach reception. I hope they sort this out. Thanks.
