I had a good time overall. I just wish online booking offered a smaller room for a single guest.

My first stay here was also my last. The staff’s behavior was extremely rude and unprofessional, and they didn’t seem to know how to treat customers. Service was terrible, the hotel felt useless, and the whole experience was very disappointing.

The room had no complimentary water bottles, and getting towels was a hassle. They were locked up and controlled by reception, so even housekeeping couldn’t hand them out. Every request had to go through the front desk. The TV cable reception was so poor that it was practically unusable. The washroom was unclean and flooded whenever someone showered. I asked several times for a viper, but got one only on the third day. We were given just one NFC key card, which controlled both entry and the room’s power. If one of us went out, the other had no key; when we both left, the fridge and laptops couldn’t stay powered. They refused our request for another card without a valid reason. I’ve stayed everywhere from luxury hotels to budget hostels, and my five days at Arjan Suites fell short because of these service problems and cost-cutting that affected comfort. It presents well, but the reality didn’t meet expectations. At 200 SAR a night, it wasn’t worth the price. The stay was manageable only because we mainly used the room to sleep. Otherwise, we would have chosen somewhere else.

The kitchenette was no use to me. There was a hot plate, but nothing in the cupboards to use with it, and no microwave. The carpets in all the rooms were filthy, like they’d never been cleaned. It was too late for me to change hotels, and the room quality didn’t justify the high price. I’ll never stay there again.
