Capital O 183 Ahlah Al Ayam Hotel

The location was good, with plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, and laundry nearby, but the stay was unpleasant. The washbasins smelled as if fungus might be growing in the drain pipes, and seemed poorly maintained. The bed was uneven, and the mattresses were worn and out of balance. The refrigerator also caused problems. After several reminders and escalations, I had it moved out of the closet so it would work.

The one-bedroom apartment was really spacious, and the hotel was clean with a good reception. There are lots of places to eat nearby. I’d stay here again.

The room was clean, reception was nice, and the hotel is near restaurants and transport. I liked the service and recommend visiting. I’d come back again and again.

I booked three nights through the OYO app for 470 SAR a long time in advance, then called the hotel on arrival day to say I’d be there at 10:00 p.m. They cancelled the booking without giving a reason and said I could book again for 1,536 SAR instead of 470 SAR for the three nights. OYO app customer service apologized but said I’d have to pay 1,536 if I wanted to stay. Don’t waste your time with OYO.
