Diamond Elite Hotel

We found an insect in the room, and water was leaking in the bathroom. They left just one towel for us, and it was already used and quite wet. We’d arranged a 4 pm check-in because we arrived at 5 am, and the receptionist agreed. But on the second day they called and told us to leave at noon. I wouldn’t return or recommend the place.

I spent about two weeks here, so I got a decent feel for what works and what needs attention. The location, cleanliness, and staff were all positives. The big windows let in a lot of traffic noise. I asked once for my room to be cleaned during the whole visit, but it never happened. The TV had very few channels, and the picture quality was poor.

For one night, I’d suggest ordering food online. A taxi to the hotel costs around 30-40 riyals, and the price feels worth it. It’s close to Jeddah airport, with spacious, clean rooms and a window view of planes landing that’s really worth seeing.

The hotel is still in its soft opening, so don’t expect the full range of hospitality services yet. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable, and the staff welcoming and helpful. It’s new and conveniently located near the airport and the Cornaish area.
