Gladiolus Hotel

The breakfast was a big hit with the kids, especially because nuggets and fries were there almost every day. Since we arrived early for our three-night stay, they also gave us breakfast on arrival day for free. Thanks especially to abbasi, the pakistani guy looking after breakfast. We got early check-in and late checkout, and the hospitality was hard to beat. YouTube worked on both TVs, which was a nice surprise. The workers, bell boys, reception guys, and all the Bangladeshi workers were generous and helpful. There's a general store right by the property, and fast food places like Kfc, tajaz, and al baik are within walking distance, along with pharmacies and restaurants. Reception has lemon water and gahwa available 24/7, and there's a lovely traditional saudi sitting area where you can relax and take pictures. I'll keep coming back.

The room was spacious, with the sleeping area separate from the living room, and the bathroom was a good size with all amenities provided. Hera Mall and plenty of shopping and food options are about a 10-minute walk away. There are also a couple of grocery shops on the same road. I stayed one night and everything went smoothly, from Checkin to Checkout. Both service and timing were good, and it felt like great value for money.

The Ramadan Iftar had a lot of great choices, and the staff were kind and helpful, especially Mr. Anwar. I'd happily come back, insha’a Allah.

Of the many hotels we tried on our trip from Australia, this was one of the best. The place was spotless and well maintained, and the food was clean and delicious. Anwar Ahmed stood out for being polite, helpful, and ready to assist. Customer service was excellent. I'd recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Jeddah, especially international guests, and I'd choose it again if I return.
