InterContinental Jeddah by IHG

We were a family of four, two adults and two children, staying at the InterContinental Hotel Jeddah for two nights. The hotel felt luxurious and clean, with well-kept public areas and a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. At the busy front desk, staff were clearly under pressure but stayed calm, professional, and genuinely kind. The gentleman at reception went out of his way to help and upgraded us to a spacious room with two queen-size beds. It was comfortable and roomy enough for all of us to relax. The one problem was excess humidity from the air conditioning. We reported it promptly, and management quickly sent an engineer, but the issue couldn't be fixed, so we eventually switched the AC off. Apart from that inconvenience, we had a comfortable, enjoyable stay, and the excellent service and friendly staff made it memorable. We'd consider returning.

The location was a real plus, and the staff were welcoming and accommodating. The hotel itself is quite old. My main concern was cleanliness: we spent the night itching and didn’t sleep well, so they need to pay closer attention to cleaning.

The breakfast was world class, and housekeeping were consistently friendly, respectful, and thorough. I also want to thank Night Manager Br Hassan for the care he showed us at InterContinental Jeddah. Our arrival hadn’t gone smoothly, but after we came back from Umrah around midnight, he took charge calmly and made us feel respected. He worked to put things right and kindly offered complimentary breakfast for our family of six for all three days. That generosity and leadership meant a lot. My constructive suggestion is that some female staff at the front desk and restaurant could use more training in customer communication and English. Thanks again to Br Hassan for his professionalism and excellent service.

The breakfast buffet had loads of high-quality choices, and the fitness centre staff were helpful and professional. We had an excellent three-night stay last week at this well-kept, premium property. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a stunning view of the Red Sea and Jeddah Corniche. Mr. Mutaib Bin Mansour at the front desk was especially welcoming, efficient, and professional, and went out of his way to handle our requests. Staff also suggested nearby restaurants and tourist spots, which added a lot to the experience. Their warm hospitality reflects the hotel's high standards. A memorable stay, and one I'd happily recommend.
