Verta Hotel Qouraish

I first stayed from January 25th to 27th, and liked the hotel so much that I booked another night for February 2nd just to experience it again 🥹. The staff were so kind and helpful, and talking with them always made me smile and laugh. Next time I’m in Jeddah, I’ll definitely stay here!

We had a very bad experience. There was barely any water in the bathroom, more like water scarcity than a proper water supply. For a star-rated hotel, the service was worse than a local lodge, and I strongly wouldn’t recommend it. We requested sugar and instant tea or coffee through room service and were told they didn’t have any. After we shouted at them, they managed to bring only two sugar pouches and one tea pouch, and said coffee wasn’t available. They charge international rates but provide service below a local dormitory.

We had no hot water for a whole day, and it was fixed on the second day. Food was included in our three-night package, but they didn’t provide food for even one full day. When I asked, the man at reception said it was finished and hung up. A woman at reception also refused to return our passports and told us to speak to the general manager. I’ve never encountered staff so harsh and cruel, with no customer service and impolite, rude behavior. The most pathetic hotel I’ve stayed in. They treat people like animals. Please never consider staying here.

I arrived on time, but the room still wasn’t ready. Their excuses didn’t satisfy me, and the service was poor. It was not a pleasant experience, less than one star.
