The front desk staff were very nice when I checked in. Later, around 3am, I heard noises and suddenly all the power in my room went off. I packed my things and went to complain. A front desk agent sent a housekeeper with me to check the room. The poor guy seemed uneasy there and got scared. We went back downstairs and confirmed the power was out. I asked for a refund because I was scared to stay in the building. They offered another room, but I said I wasn't comfortable staying at this hotel. They said the manager would call me in the morning, but it's been 2 days and nobody has called. I didn't want to write this, but I lost the money I paid for the room and nobody even cared enough to call or do anything. NOT RECOMMENDED. STAY AWAY.

Finding the place was hard because Google Maps had the wrong address. You can find it by searching Vivid Plaza 2. Check-in was also a mess: the receptionists were incompetent and unprofessional, and insisted I had no reservation. It took 30 minutes to sort out. They gave me a suite as compensation, but the Wi-Fi only worked in one tiny part of the room. A really bad experience. The receptionists seemed like summer interns.

Probably one of the worst hotels in Jeddah. Service is terrible. You can ask for a towel and check out before they replace it. The Egyptian guy in the restaurant was arrogant, acting as if he owned the place. There were some good staff, like the Indonesian waiter and one Bangladesh or Indian guy. The laundry service was terrible too. If you can find another hotel, do that.

It took a while to find Vivid Plaza Hotel. Booking.com sent me to a place called vivid 2, which they said was supposed to be Sunday Harbor gateway hotel as listed on Booking.com. They told me I didn't have a reservation there, so I had to ask for directions until I reached Vivid Plaza Hotel. It's about 5 blocks from Vivid 2, and there's no such thing as a Sunday Harbor gateway hotel.

I booked through agoda, where it was listed as 5 stars, but to me it felt like only 2. The kettle, safe, water heater, and room phone weren't working. Hygiene wasn't great either, and even though I arrived at 4 pm, I had to wait more than 1 hour to check in. It's a fraud.
