The Palace Hotel Suites

I paid around 560 SAR for two nights, and it wasn't worth it. The service disappointed me, especially after the high expectations I got from the pictures and reviews. The manager isn't professional, and having to update the room key card every day just to get into the room is inconvenient. Other places at the same price offer better service.

The sofa smelled bad, and the bed linen had turned gray and was spotted. For around 230 SAR a night, the cleanliness and service were disappointing compared with the price, especially after the pictures and reviews had given me high expectations. The staff weren't professional, and the housekeepers were rude and didn't clean properly. You also have to update your key card every day to get into the room. Other places at this price have better service.

We arrived at night after a long, tiring drive all the way from Jeddah, only to be told the hotel was full and that the apartment we had booked hadn't been vacated by the previous guests. Our booking was confirmed and secured by credit card, but management told us to find somewhere else to stay. After a long argument, it was clear they weren't going to help us find an alternative. We had to leave and search on our own, which was a nightmare during seasonal full occupancy. We eventually found a small apartment where we squeezed in because we couldn't immediately make the return drive to Jeddah. This was the worst hotel I've ever found in Khamis Mushayt, a little away from Abha. It goes against the idea of hospitality, and it seemed to me that management would do anything for extra money while ignoring customer service. I'm sharing this so someone else doesn't have the same experience, or a different version of it, after booking here even by accident. 😄

The reception staff were especially kind and cooperative, and the location was very nice. The furnishings were very good. All in all, it's the best hotel I've ever seen.
