Maden Hotel

Our booking was for travel during the ongoing war in the Middle East, when flights were being cancelled and travel felt unsafe and impossible. Airlines and many other hotels were giving full refunds, but Hotel Maden refused to cancel our reservation and return our money. That lack of understanding during a crisis felt completely unacceptable. Once they'd taken the payment, it seemed they didn't value their guests at all. If you need flexibility in an emergency, think twice before booking here.

I didn't stay overnight, but I attended a function there for five days, and it was worth every penny. The service felt world class, and the hotel is only about a five-minute walk from Masjid Al nabawi. Even the lovely scent inside made me happy without realizing it. I'd come back to Maden.

Getting around was easy thanks to the convenient location, and breakfast each morning had fresh choices and lots of variety. The rooms were exceptionally clean, with a warm, peaceful feel throughout the hotel. The staff were kind, professional, and helpful from start to finish. We had a truly five-star stay at Maden Hotel in Madinah, and would happily return. Definitely recommend it to anyone visiting.

Great location, and the staff from the lobby through the restaurants were friendly and happy to help. The rooms were the weak point, especially the toilet. It really needs a proper scrub.
